Hi there, I’m an interactive music composer for video games. Can I import music stems in this middleware (ideally as wave files) and have the game play them based on what the player does? Or do I need another tool for that?
Yes, ADX2 includes a complete interactive music system. You can segment your music horizontally as blocks and vertically as tracks and control what ADX2 plays from the game. Audio materials can indeed be imported as wave files and there are also beat-synchronization features, should you want to synchronize other sounds to the music for example.
